1. Who We Are

Yander is a digital product design and development studio serving clients worldwide.

• U.S. entity: Yander, LLC, handling English-language and international enquiries under the Yander brand.
• Mainland China operator: GUANGZHOU YIDE NETWORK TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. (广州翌得网络科技有限公司), with 文政凯 (Khai Wen) as the responsible contact and an office presence in Guangzhou, China.
• The entity named in a proposal, statement of work, or contract is the data controller for that client engagement.

2. Scope

This policy applies to the public website at https://yander.co, its English and Chinese pages, and business enquiries sent to Yander. A signed client agreement may contain additional privacy and confidentiality terms for a specific project.

3. Information We Process

Information you choose to send

When you contact us, you may provide your:

• first and last name;
• email address and telephone number;
• company name and current website;
• project requirements, timeline, budget context, attachments, and other correspondence.

When you submit the website contact form with your consent, it sends your enquiry to our Cloudflare Worker. The Worker validates it and forwards it to our internal Feishu enquiry notification channel so the team can respond. You can also choose to contact us through your own email application or WhatsApp.

Enquiry source information

To understand which service page or channel led to an enquiry, the site temporarily stores the first page path visited in the current tab, an external referrer's origin when the browser provides it, and permitted campaign labels (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term) in session storage under yander.contact-entry. If session storage is unavailable, the information is kept in memory. It is sent with a contact form enquiry only when you submit the form with your consent. The main enquiry form also offers an optional question about how you found us.

We do not include full referrer URLs, arbitrary query parameters, or contact-form text in this source record. Source information is a browser-provided or self-reported clue; it does not reveal a Google search query or prove that an AI assistant recommended us.

Technical information

Our hosting and content-delivery providers may automatically process limited technical logs, such as IP address, requested URL, date and time, browser or user-agent information, response status, and security events. This information is used to deliver the website, maintain reliability, and prevent abuse.

Language preference

The site stores the selected language (en or zh) in local storage under yander.locale and in an essential NEXT_LOCALE cookie for up to one year. This preference is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Website analytics

The website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, traffic sources, device and browser information, and interactions with the site. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies, including _ga and _ga_*, and browser identifiers to measure visits and sessions. Google processes this information to provide analytics reports. We disable Google signals and advertising personalization in our tag configuration, and do not send the names, email addresses, telephone numbers, or project details entered into our enquiry forms to Google Analytics.

The current website does not provide user accounts, process payments, run behavioural advertising, sell personal information, or use automated decision-making that produces significant effects on individuals.

4. Why We Use Personal Information

We process personal information only as needed to:

• respond to an enquiry and prepare requested proposals or project scopes;
• take steps toward, enter into, and perform a client contract;
• communicate about an active or previous project;
• operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website;
• maintain business, tax, accounting, and legal records;
• establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and
• comply with applicable law.

Depending on the applicable law and context, the legal basis may be your consent, steps requested before entering a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, or Yander's legitimate interests in operating and securing its business. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

5. Sharing and Service Providers

We do not sell or rent personal information. Information may be available only to people and providers that need it for the purposes above, including:

• Yander personnel and contractors working on the relevant enquiry or project;
• email, hosting, content-delivery, security, file-storage, and collaboration providers;
• accountants, legal advisers, insurers, and other professional advisers; and
• courts, regulators, law enforcement, or other parties where disclosure is legally required or necessary to protect rights and safety.

Our public website and contact endpoint run on Cloudflare infrastructure. Submitted form enquiries and the limited source information described above are forwarded through Feishu for internal follow-up. When you send an email, your email provider and Yander's email provider process that message under their own terms and privacy practices.

Google processes website analytics information as described in the website analytics section above.

6. International Processing

Yander serves clients worldwide, and service providers may process information outside the country where you are located. Where applicable law requires it, Yander uses appropriate contractual, organizational, or other safeguards for international transfers and provides any notices or obtains any consent required for a specific transfer.

7. Retention

• Enquiry correspondence that does not become a project is generally retained for up to 24 months after the last substantive contact, unless you ask us to delete it earlier or a legal reason requires longer retention.
• Active project information is retained for the project and support period.
• Contracts, invoices, transaction records, and information needed for tax, accounting, dispute, or legal purposes are retained for the period required by applicable law.
• The language preference cookie expires after up to one year; the local-storage preference remains until you clear it or change browser storage.
• The enquiry source record stays in the tab's session storage until the browser ends that session or you clear it. Source information submitted with an enquiry follows the enquiry correspondence retention period.
• Google Analytics cookies can remain for up to two years, with their expiration renewed on subsequent visits, unless you delete them earlier or your browser limits their lifetime. Analytics data retention follows the settings of our Google Analytics property.
• Technical logs are retained according to the relevant hosting and security settings and only for as long as reasonably necessary.

When information is no longer required, we delete it, anonymize it, or securely restrict it until deletion is possible.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information in an initial enquiry.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:

• know how your personal information is processed;
• access or obtain a copy of it;
• correct or complete inaccurate information;
• delete information or restrict its processing;
• object to certain processing;
• withdraw consent;
• receive portable data where applicable; and
• complain to a competent privacy or data-protection authority.

To make a request, email sales@ydwl.tech. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

10. Children

This website and Yander's business services are not directed to children. Please do not send personal information about a child unless it is necessary for a legitimate project enquiry and you are authorized to do so.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the website, our providers, or legal requirements change. The current version and update date will remain published on this page.
